Join a Support Group

Hi, I have similar problem with sticking to one thing. I just get bored from the monotonous duties of employment that are even considered creative fields. I want to know what cause excitment inside me to keep me in the one employment to grow within myself and the company. Everytime I get to some newfound revolution from books or thoughts...the doubts set in, and my conventional family of engineers and insurance/finance personalities-- who do not offer support only more doubts and dream crushing comments. It sounds like you have doubts too. But recently I came upon an old friend with a  similar personality. He is an excellent writer and with every email he writes it motivates me to move forward with my dreams and my true calling as a creative person. Find a person that will motivate you to continue forward with your goals that you have set. Deciding on a career is a personal journey, but with the help of this forum and a friend with similar personaility you will find your answer through persistance. Personally, my dreams are very revealing. Try to look inside your dreams as they will be a door to the unconsious mind. Also, I suggest meditation. Relaxation will also open your mind to what lurks inside to help you discover your true passion.
